This PS4 came in because the fan was running at high speed making it sound something like a jet engine.

We carefully disassembled it and fully cleaned it out, removed all the fluff and dust, put on new thermal compound for the main processor.

After re-assembly it was running so quietly that we needed to put our ear right up to the console touching the case before we could hear the fan spinning.
